It looks like yet another Kamal Haasan’s film has landed into trouble. The pooja of Drishyam‘s Tamil remake was held recently and soon after, Malayalam script writer Sathish Paul filed a petition with the the Ernakulam District Court stating that Drishyam is a copy of his story published as a book in May 2013 called Oru Mazhakalathu.

Now, the court has ordered to stall the shooting of the film, until the case is cleared. The movie is directed by Jeetu Jospeh, who had directed the Malayalam version. Meanwhile, the makers are hopeful that they could resolve the issue amicably. Stay tuned for updates!
