‘I don’t watch films for free ‘ , Judge says on Kaththi ban case …

Recently a petition has been filed against both Kaththi and Pulipaaravi in Madurai High Court, the petitioner has said that Kaththi is being produced by Subashkaran of Lyca and he is a close relative to Rajapakashe. The petitioner also said “Kaththi film is having dialogues against Sri Lankan Tamils and the film is having scenes which will showcase Sri Lankan Tamil women in bad-light”.

On Puliparvai, the petitioner said that the film is having scenes showing that Prabhakaran has used children for his army and also they showed Prabhakaran’s son Balachandran was killed by Chinese army.

Hearing the petitioner’s plea, the judge Kirubakaran said “If censor board cleared films, first the petitioner should request to the them later, if proper steps are not taken then he could file a petition in the court”.

The petitioner requested the Judge to watch the film before release, for that the Judge replied” I don’t watch films for free and postponed the verdict”.
