HTC One M9+
The HTC One M9+ sports a 5.2-inch Quad HD display (1440 x 2560 resolution) with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and has a slightly modified design as compared to the HTC One M9. It sports dual-front speakers, but there is a button at the base of the HTC One M9+ which also works as a biometric authentication system.
It comes with a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795T (Helio X10) SoC which has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It is paired with 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
On the OS front, you get Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI 7 skin atop it. The HTC One M9+ features a 20.7MP rear camera and a 4 UltraPixel front facing camera. The rear side also has a depth sensing camera and the duo-camera setup is similar to the one seen on the HTC One M8. It is capable of shooting 4K videos.
The HTC One M9+ features a 4G LTE connectivity along with Wi-fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, infrared port, DLNA, NFC and so on. It is powered by a 2,840mAh capacity non-removable battery. The phone will come in three colours – Gunmetal Grey, Amber Gold and Silver Gold.
Along with the One M9+, HTC also announced the One E9+, but no pricing details were announced for the same. The HTC One E9+ sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD display (1440 x 2560 pixel resolution) with a pixel density at 534 ppi. It runs on the same MediaTek MT6795T (Helio X10) SoC that is present on the One M9+. The One E9+ will also come with 3GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB via the microSD card slot.
On the camera front, you get a 20MP rear camera which can record 4K videos. On the front, you get a wide-angle UltraPixel camera which is capable of capturing brighter pictures in low light. You can also shoot selfies via voice commands.
The device runs Google’s Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with the HTC Sense UI on top. In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM phablet supports both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE network bands along with dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. The One E9+ also sports the company’s trademark BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers too.
The HTC One E9+ includes a 2,800mAh battery and will be available in meteor grey, gold sepia and classic rose gold two-tone colour variants. The phone will be released in the second half of May.
