Micromax’s latest smartphone @ Rs.6000


Micromax is feeling the heat from Chinese smartphone makers like Xiaomi and Lenovo. A company that prided itself in coming out with good smartphones with down to earth pricing seems to be at its wits’ ends as companies like Lenovo, Xiaomi and Motorola that also happens to be a part of Lenovo after acquisition are attacking where it hurts the most.

These three companies are launching great handsets with better specifications that Micromax and with lower price than India’s largest smartphone vendor. To be true after being a runaway success the company is facing its toughest test since mid-2014.

Now there are reports that the Indian smartphone major is coming out with a new affordable smartphone – the Canvas Spark – in India on April 21. “Be the first to get your hands on the Micromax Canvas Spark! Join us for an electrifying get together and witness the reveal of this exciting gadget!”, says the company’s media invite.

Expecting Features:
It seems that the company is going to ally with Snapdeal as the teaser was released on it for the new Android handset from Micromax.

Rumors suggest that the new Micromax Canvas Spark will have 4.7-inch display and price tag under Rs 6,000. It is expected to take on the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and the new Motorola Moto E.

It should come with 8 mega pixel camera with LED Flash and 2 MP front camera. It may have 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM, The most expectation is it may have the latest version of Android v5.0 (Lollipop).

Snapdeal’s active participation in promoting the the yet-to-be-launched phone hints at its exclusive tie-up with Micromax for selling it online.
